Train N Play Terms & MVP Clinic Membership

Version 3 · Sat, Oct 24, 2026 · Accepted when a membership starts.

1. Who we are and this agreement Train N Play ("we" or "us") runs youth sports training, strength and conditioning, camps, clinics, courses, and facility rentals at 329 Johnson Rd, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Train N Play is operated by Train N Play LLC.

These terms are an agreement between us and the parent or legal guardian who creates a Train N Play account. You must be at least 18 to create an account. When you add an athlete, you agree to these terms for yourself and on behalf of that athlete.

You accept these terms by ticking the box at checkout. The terms for each program (Season Pass, Drop-In, Camps & Clinics, Facility Rentals) are also on this page and add to these general terms. If they conflict, the program's own terms apply to that program.

2. MVP Clinic memberships and seasons The MVP Clinic runs in seasons. The current season's start and end dates are shown in the app and at checkout. Athletes are placed in Youth (6U-12U) or High School (13U-18U) by age group and sport.

A membership is for one athlete for one season. It cannot be transferred to another athlete, family, or season. Every membership ends on the last day of the season. Unused sessions, credits, and discounts do not carry over. Returning families sign up again for the next season at that season's prices.

Members may book one MVP session per day. Some positions may get an extra session on set days, as shown in the app. Sessions can be booked up to 14 days ahead, only during the season, and only while spots remain. We may close the facility for holidays, weather, or events. Closed days cannot be booked, and the season is not extended to make up for them.

3. Monthly membership: price, billing, and automatic monthly payments The monthly MVP membership is $125 per athlete per month. Each additional athlete in the same account who joins while another athlete has an active membership is $100 per month. Team deals may have a different monthly price, which is shown before you pay. Promo codes, if we offer any, are entered at checkout.

Monthly payments follow the season, not the day you sign up. If you sign up before the season starts, you save a card at checkout and nothing is charged that day. Your first payment is on the first day of the season, and the same amount is charged on that day of each month after that, with the last payment on that day of the season's final month. The exact dates are shown at checkout.

If you join after the season has started, you pay a prorated amount at checkout for the rest of the current billing period, from the day you join until the next monthly billing date, and then the full monthly amount on each billing date after that. The amount due that day is shown before you pay. If you join after the season's last billing date, you pay a prorated amount for the remaining days of the season only.

By choosing monthly billing, you authorize us to charge your card through our payment processor, Stripe, on these dates. This is a recurring payment. Billing ends with the season: nothing is charged after the season's last billing date, and the membership does not roll into the next season.

Stripe emails a receipt after each payment. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry the card, and you agree to keep a valid card on file.

4. Cancelling a monthly membership You can cancel anytime by emailing us at hello@trainnplay.com. Your athlete keeps access until the end of the period you have already paid for. You will not be charged again. Payments already made are not refunded. If you cancel before the season starts, nothing has been charged and the membership simply ends.

All payments are non-refundable. We do not give refunds or credits for missed sessions, closed days, or sessions an athlete chooses not to book.

5. Booking rules, cancellations, and no-shows Book sessions in the app. To cancel a booking, cancel in the app at least 3 hours before the session starts. Inside 3 hours, the app will not let you cancel.

Check in at the kiosk when you arrive. If an athlete is booked but not checked in by the time the session ends, the booking is marked a no-show. Staff can correct a mistake.

Each athlete gets 3 free no-shows per season. Starting with the 4th, each no-show may carry a $10 fee. Staff review every fee before it is charged and may waive it. Approved fees are charged to the card saved on your account, and you will receive an email receipt. No-show fees are non-refundable once charged. No-show counts reset each season, and days we close never count as no-shows.

Some memberships, such as free or team-sponsored memberships, still require a card on file. That card is used only for fees you agree to here, like no-show fees.

6. Waivers and assumption of risk Before an athlete's first booking, a parent or guardian must sign our Liability Waiver and Facility Rules for that athlete. Both are on this page. The waiver is a separate document. These terms do not replace or limit it. If we update the waiver or rules, you will be asked to sign again before your next booking.

Sports training involves physical activity and real risk of injury, including from balls, equipment, and contact. Please tell staff about any injury or health condition that affects your athlete's training.

7. Conduct and facility rules Everyone at the facility must follow the Facility Rules and staff instructions. We may remove an athlete or guest from a session, or end a membership, enrollment, or rental, for unsafe, abusive, or disruptive behavior, without a refund. Parents are responsible for their athletes and guests while at the facility.

8. Photos and video We may take photos or video during sessions, camps, and events to share on our website and social media. If you do not want your athlete included, email hello@trainnplay.com and we will leave them out.

9. Privacy and emails We collect what we need to run your account: your name, email, and phone number, and your athletes' names, birth year, age group, sport, positions, and team. We also record bookings, check-ins, and when you sign or agree to our documents, including your typed name, the date and time, and your device's IP address and browser type.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

We email you sign-in codes, booking, payment, and rental notices, receipts, and no-show fee receipts. These are part of using the service, and you will receive them even if you unsubscribe from marketing. We send marketing emails, such as news about camps, clinics, and new training content, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe anytime from the link in any marketing email.

10. Changes to these terms We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its version number and date. When the terms change, you will be asked to agree to the new version at your next checkout. When the waiver or rules change, you will be asked to sign again before your next booking. A change will not raise the price of a season you have already paid for or of a monthly membership already running for the current season.

11. Contact and governing law Questions, cancellations, and requests: hello@trainnplay.com.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.

Season Pass & Team Deal Terms

Version 2 · Sat, Oct 24, 2026 · Acknowledged before paying for a whole season in full.

A Season Pass is one payment that covers one athlete's MVP Clinic membership for the rest of the season, through the last day of the season shown in the app. The full-season public price is $450. Team deals are private prices offered to a team's families through a link or code.

The price shown at checkout reflects the weeks remaining in the season. Joining after the season has started costs less than the full-season price, with a $100 minimum. The price you see before you pay is the price you pay.

You pay once at checkout. Nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. The pass ends on the last day of the season.

Season Passes and paid-in-full team deals are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no refunds or credits for any reason, including missed sessions, injury, illness, schedule changes, moving, or leaving the team.

Team deals are for athletes on that team. A deal may have a limited number of spots and a join-by date. A spot is yours only once payment is complete. A team deal price applies to that season only. Team deals billed monthly follow the monthly membership terms in the MVP Clinic section of this page.

All other MVP Clinic terms on this page still apply, including the booking limits, the 3-hour cancellation rule, no-show fees, the waiver and rules, and conduct.

Drop-In Session Terms

Version 2 · Sat, Oct 24, 2026 · Accepted before the first paid drop-in session.

Athletes without a membership may book single MVP sessions as drop-ins, when drop-ins are offered. A drop-in is $25 per session. You pay when you book. Your spot is held only once payment is complete.

Drop-ins follow the same booking rules as members: up to 14 days ahead, during the season, while spots remain. The waiver and Facility Rules must be signed first.

You can cancel a drop-in in the app up to 3 hours before the session. Drop-in payments are non-refundable, including when you cancel the booking or do not attend.

No-show rules and fees apply to drop-ins too. The general terms in the MVP Clinic section of this page (who we are, waivers, conduct, privacy, changes, and contact) also apply.

Camps, Clinics & Programs Terms

Version 2 · Sat, Oct 24, 2026 · Accepted when enrolling in a camp, clinic, or lesson program.

Camps, clinics, and other programs are priced as shown when you enroll. Depending on the program, you pay in full, pay monthly, or pay per session.

If you choose monthly payments for a program, you authorize us to charge your card through Stripe at enrollment and every month after that until the program's last session. Billing then stops automatically.

Enrollment is for the named athlete and is not transferable. The waiver and Facility Rules must be signed before the athlete attends.

All program payments are non-refundable, including if the athlete stops attending or leaves the program early. There is no self-serve withdrawal. To leave a program, email hello@trainnplay.com. Staff end the enrollment, monthly billing stops when they do, and payments already made are not refunded.

The general terms in the MVP Clinic section of this page (who we are, waivers, conduct, photos, privacy, changes, and contact) also apply.

Facility Rental Terms

Version 2 · Sat, Oct 24, 2026 · Accepted when paying for an approved facility rental.

Request a rental in the app at least 48 hours ahead, during the open rental times shown. A request is not a booking. We review every request and email you once it is approved or declined. Your rental is confirmed only after you pay the amount shown.

You can withdraw a request in the app any time before you pay. Paid rentals are non-refundable.

The person who books the rental (the renter) is responsible for everyone in their group. That includes their conduct, following the Facility Rules and staff instructions, supervising minors, keeping the group within any roster limit shown in the app, staying within the booked time and space, and paying for any damage they cause.

Every player on the roster must have a signed Liability Waiver before entering or checking in. A parent or guardian signs for a player under 18. We send each player, or their parent, a signing link. Players without a signed waiver may be refused entry. Paying for the rental does not waive this requirement.

The general terms in the MVP Clinic section of this page (who we are, waivers, conduct, privacy, changes, and contact) also apply.

Liability Waiver, Release, and Medical Authorization

Version 2 · Sat, Oct 24, 2026 · Signed once per athlete by a parent or guardian before the first booking.

I am the parent or legal guardian of the athlete named below (the "Athlete"). In exchange for the Athlete being allowed to take part in activities at Train N Play, operated by Train N Play LLC at 329 Johnson Rd, Wadsworth, OH 44281 ("Train N Play"), I agree to the following for myself and on behalf of the Athlete.

1. Activities covered This waiver covers every activity at Train N Play and anywhere Train N Play runs a program: sport-specific training in any sport, strength and conditioning, weightlifting, use of training equipment and machines, batting cages and ball machines, camps, clinics, lessons, open training, facility rentals, and related activities, including warm-ups, free time, and time spent watching at the facility.

2. Risks I understand that sports training, strength training, and weightlifting carry real risks that cannot be removed even with good coaching and care. They include sprains, strains, and muscle tears; broken bones; concussions and other head injuries; being struck by balls, bats, weights, or other equipment; collisions with other people, walls, nets, or machines; overexertion, dehydration, and heat illness; and, in rare cases, permanent disability or death. Facilities, equipment, and other participants can also cause injury. I accept these risks for the Athlete, known and unknown, including risks that come from the ordinary negligence of Train N Play.

3. Release and waiver of liability To the fullest extent Ohio law allows, I release Train N Play LLC and its owners, members, managers, coaches, trainers, staff, volunteers, and contractors (the "Released Parties") from all claims, demands, and liability for any injury, illness, death, or damage to or loss of property suffered by the Athlete or by me in connection with the activities above, including claims based on the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties. This release does not cover gross negligence or willful misconduct.

4. Indemnification To the extent Ohio law allows, I agree to indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from any claim brought by or on behalf of the Athlete, or by me, arising from the Athlete's participation, including reasonable attorney fees, except to the extent a claim is caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of a Released Party.

5. Fitness, health, and conduct I confirm that the Athlete is medically fit to take part and has no condition that makes participation unsafe. I will tell Train N Play staff about any injury, illness, allergy, or health condition that could affect the Athlete's training before the Athlete takes part, and I will update staff if that changes. The Athlete will follow staff instructions and the Facility Rules, will use weight-training equipment and machines only as instructed and with the supervision staff require, and will stop and report any injury or unsafe condition right away. Train N Play may remove the Athlete from an activity for safety reasons.

Facility Rules

Version 2 · Sat, Oct 24, 2026 · Signed once per athlete. Covers conduct, equipment, and check-in.

These rules apply to everyone at Train N Play: members, drop-ins, camp and clinic athletes, rental groups, parents, and guests. A parent or guardian signs them for each athlete. Staff instructions are final on the floor.

1. Check in Check in at the kiosk when you arrive, before training starts. An athlete who is booked but not checked in by the end of the session is marked a no-show.

2. Booking and cancelling Book sessions in the app. To cancel, cancel in the app at least 3 hours before the session starts. Inside 3 hours the app will not let you cancel, and the booking counts as a no-show if the athlete does not attend. Each athlete gets 3 free no-shows per season; after that, each no-show may carry the fee shown in the Terms, charged to the card on file after staff review.

3. Safety and equipment Helmets are required in every cage and whenever a ball machine is running. Stay out of cages, nets, and throwing lanes while they are in use. Athletes use weight-training equipment and machines only as instructed and only with staff supervision. Return weights and equipment to where they belong. Report damaged equipment or an unsafe condition to staff right away and do not use it.

4. Health Do not train through an injury without telling a coach. Tell staff about any medical condition or injury that could affect training. Bring water. Stop and tell a coach if you feel unwell.

5. Conduct Respect coaches, staff, other athletes, and families. No bullying, fighting, abusive language, or horseplay. No tobacco, vaping, alcohol, or drugs anywhere on the property. Phones stay off the training floor unless a coach says otherwise.

6. Parents and guests Parents and guests stay in the viewing area during sessions unless a coach invites them onto the floor. Parents are responsible for their athletes and guests, including children who are not training, who must be supervised at all times.

7. Facility and belongings Wear athletic shoes; no metal cleats indoors. Clean up after yourself. Train N Play is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Anyone who damages equipment or the facility is responsible for the cost.

8. Enforcement Staff may ask anyone who breaks these rules to leave a session or the facility. Repeated or serious violations may end a membership, enrollment, or rental without a refund, as described in the Terms.

6. Emergency medical treatment If the Athlete is injured or becomes ill and I cannot be reached right away, I authorize Train N Play staff to arrange emergency medical care, including first aid, ambulance transport, and treatment by medical professionals. I am responsible for all costs of that care.

7. Photos and video Train N Play may take photos or video during activities for its website and social media, as described in the Terms. If I do not want the Athlete included, I will email hello@trainnplay.com and Train N Play will leave the Athlete out.

8. Scope and duration This waiver applies to every Train N Play program, membership, drop-in session, camp, clinic, lesson, rental, and season the Athlete takes part in, from the date I sign it until Train N Play publishes a new version and asks me to sign again. It applies whether or not I am present at the facility.

9. Governing law and severability This waiver is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. If any part of it is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. I have read this waiver, I understand it, I am at least 18, and I sign it voluntarily by typing my name below.
